At least 300 people in Washtenaw County were homeless on Jan. 26
A new point-in-time count of Washtenaw County’s homeless population took place Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017. Representatives from the Washtenaw Housing Alliance and Washtenaw County’s Office of Community and Economic Development presented the results this week, showing 300 people in the greater Ann Arbor area were identified as homeless during the count, which included 40 people who were unsheltered and 260 people who were staying in emergency shelter or transitional housing.
